On April 29, along with the final batch of concrete is cast, concrete for pier capping of Bridge Pier No. 10 for Mengxi Central China Railway Lines is successfully cast, it indicates that the first pier for Mengxi Central China Railway Lines is Successfully Built.

Gong’an Yangtze River bridge undertaken by China Major Bridge Engineering Co.,Ltd.(MBEC) is the first heavy load railway bridge across Yangtze River in China, adopting circular arch portal structure having depth of 21.6m, width 17.5m, and total concrete of 1496 m3. The on-schedule completion of such bridge pier lays solid and sound foundation for the launching of steel girders on side span.
